What is Mass Media?

Mass media are communication tools that reach many people quickly, like TV, newspapers, magazines, radio, and the internet. Usually written by journalists and sometimes fact-checked. They share information, opinions, advocacy, propaganda, ads, art, entertainment, and more with a large audience.

Many library databases contain newspapers. Look for filters to easily track down these types of popular media sources.
