Citing Images

When using images for your project, you will need to cite them.  Use Chicago Style to cite.

Citations for images need to include these elements:

Name of artist or creator
Title of the work
Date the work was created
Location of  the work or Repository - institution or entity that owns the work
Source where you found the image - book, database, postcard, website, etc.
Date that you accessed the image, if on the image is on the web
Rights information, if known - who holds the rights to the image
